Community Partners International (CPI) is partnering with It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) to operate the "Chakar" mobile school bus that serves hard-to-reach children in slum communities in Dhaka. Five days a week, the bus travels to two communities to offer basic education, a healthy meal, health awareness and extracurricular activities to children between the ages of five and seven.
The school provides a safe, positive and learner-centered environment for children, using digital and paper-based approaches, with a curriculum aligned with Bangladesh national standards and guidelines.
The school supports children to complete pre-primary education and prepare to integrate into formal education. The school engages with parents to raise awareness and support for their children’s education.
